Review an imported contract draft against its files before creating the contract in James.

Before you begin

Start an import and wait until its draft shows Ready for review or Needs attention. For help starting an import, see Importing signed contracts.

Steps

  1. Go to Contracts > Imports and select the draft you want to review.
  2. Select a file under Contract files and compare its contents with the extracted details.
  3. Review Overall confidence and the confidence shown for extracted values. Check every value against the contract file before you create the contract.
  4. Correct any details that do not match the contract. For field meanings, see Contract fields.
  5. Select Edit Counterparties to review the counterparties and their relationships. Save your changes when each included counterparty is complete.
  6. Check that the draft has a title, at least one counterparty with a valid relationship, a responsible person, and a valid start date. If you enter an end date, it must not be before the start date.
  7. Correct the Payment Plan if its currency or payment amount cannot be used.
  8. Select Create contract.

Result

James creates a contract from the reviewed draft. You can update its saved information later by following Editing contract details.
